Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MSAL Data Hub, including wallet funding, VTU services, and bill payments in Nigeria.

Last updated: June 2026

By registering for, accessing, or using MSAL Data Hub (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including customers, resellers, and agents.

1. About the Platform

MSAL Data Hub is a digital wallet and payments platform that enables users to fund a wallet balance and purchase services such as mobile data, airtime, electricity bill payments, cable TV subscriptions, and related reseller tools. Services may be delivered through third-party telecom, VTU, and bill payment providers.

MSAL Data Hub is a technology service. We do not represent ourselves as a licensed bank, payment service bank, or telecommunications operator unless separately stated in writing and supported by valid documentation.

2. Eligibility and account registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement under Nigerian law.
  • You must provide accurate, current registration information (name, email, phone, and other requested details).
  • One person must not maintain multiple accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes.
  • We may request verification or suspend accounts where information is incomplete, misleading, or suspicious.

3. Account security and user responsibilities

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, device access, and wallet activity.
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or an incorrect transaction.
  • You must review order details carefully before confirming any purchase, including phone numbers, data plans, meter numbers, and smartcard/IUC details.
  • Transactions submitted with incorrect recipient details may fail or succeed on the wrong destination; we are not liable for losses caused by user input errors where the service was delivered as submitted.

4. Wallet funding

Online funding

Wallet top-ups may be processed through approved online payment gateways. Funding is credited only after successful payment verification through our backend systems. Duplicate verification attempts are handled safely to prevent double crediting.

Manual deposits

Manual bank transfer requests require accurate proof of payment and may remain pending until reviewed and approved by our operations team. Wallet credit for manual deposits occurs only after approval. Rejected requests will not credit your wallet.

Wallet use

  • Wallet balance is used to pay for services on the Platform.
  • Wallet balances are not bank deposits and do not earn interest unless explicitly stated.
  • We may freeze or restrict wallets involved in fraud review, chargeback disputes, or policy violations.

5. Service purchases and delivery

  • Prices, plans, and biller availability are displayed before checkout and may change without prior notice.
  • Successful purchases debit your wallet and create a transaction record and digital receipt where applicable.
  • Delivery times depend on network operators, VTU aggregators, and bill payment providers. Some transactions may remain pending while status is confirmed.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service where third-party systems, maintenance, or network outages occur.

6. Failed transactions and refunds

If a service transaction fails after your wallet is debited, our refund policy may apply. Automatic wallet refunds may be issued for confirmed failures. Please review our Refund Policy for details. Successful services delivered to the details you provided are generally not refundable.

7. Reseller, referral, and promotional features

Tier-based pricing, referral rewards, promo codes, and commission features are subject to separate program rules. Abuse, self-referrals, or manipulation may result in reward cancellation, account suspension, or termination. See our Referral Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for fraud, money laundering, or unlawful activity.
  • Attempt to bypass security, manipulate pricing, or interfere with platform operations.
  • Resell or misuse services in violation of provider terms or applicable law.
  • Submit false manual deposit proofs or chargeback claims in bad faith.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are violated, where fraud is suspected, or where required for security or legal compliance. Suspended users may be restricted from financial transactions until review is complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MSAL Data Hub and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from third-party provider delays, network outages, or user-provided incorrect details. Our liability for a qualifying platform error is limited to the amount of the affected transaction or wallet credit, subject to investigation and applicable law.

11. Disputes

Transaction disputes should be reported promptly with your reference number. Our Dispute Resolution process explains how complaints are handled.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the Platform or support channels. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall first be addressed through our internal support process before other remedies are pursued where applicable.
